Post by: spikey_fridge on June 04, 2010, 10:55:09 am
when do you know when they are ready to lay? mine are about 11 wks old and looking like miniature chickens. still on chick and growing pellets.
also, when can i throw them maize/corn stuff?
i have the laying pellets here but no grit at the moment but have access to some soon as needed

Depending on the breed, or whether they are hybrid layers, your birds will have to be twice their current age before you can expect eggs. :)
