I have worked with Adam and he does a really good job.

Definately to be recommended.

PS Adam do I get money off for the good reference? ;D

Hi Adam
We are based in the far west of Cornwall - how many sheep in a flock would be a minimum to make it worthwhile for you to come this far? We haven't got any sheep yet but plan to and its worth knowing how many I should possibly aim for.
Thanks in advance
Tish

Hi Tish

Thanks for the enquiry. There would be a standard fee for the first 25 plus travel for any distance over 10 mile from exeter.

i have traveled 80 mile round trip to shear 8 sheep before just to help out a couple in distress, so no number too few.

regards

adam

Sudanpan, I'm in the same position as you and am also in Cornwall so once our sheep arrive we might be able to make it more worth someone's while if we could book in on the same day! :sheep:

Hi Adam,

How much would you charge for 3 sheep (1 ewe and 2 hoggets)?  I have a friend with some and I said I'd let her know if I found anyone.

Thanks Adam, my ewes are looking so cool after you relieved them of all that wool.  Great job, see you next year.

Hi Adam,

Will hopefully be looking for a shearer next year if all goes well, will add your number to my phone list. I'm in Somerset and expect numbers to be 3 to 9 depending how the season goes.

For those of us who are unfamiliar with visiting shearers, other than a cup a tea of course  ;D What would make your job easier, pen set up etc. Also I wont have any mains electric at my place, but i will have a small geni set up for light etc during lambing and winter nights; is that a real issue for your job?

Cobra

thank you for your enquiry

No i don't need electric as i use a 12v shearing set.
Have the sheep in approx a 8ft by 4ft pen close to somewhere level to shear would be ideal, but there is always ways around any situation.

adam
