Title: FS - Registered Shetland tup (Scottish Borders)
Post by: shankendfarming on October 11, 2016, 08:49:21 pm
I have an elderly gentleman who is looking for a new home. He is called Eckford Louie. He was born in 2010 out of Eckford Ert and by Parkford Owen.
He is registered with the Shetland Sheep Society as flecked black yuglet.
He is on the Heptavac P vaccination system, and has been recently treated for fluke and worms.
He does suffer from sunburn in the summer due to him having quite a few pink bits! So he needs a bit of TLC when the weather is sunny.

Over the years I have had him he has produced some lovely lambs, and his offspring form the nucleus of my shetland flock.

Price £25

For any more information please email [email protected]

Thanks :-)

Oh,  if I did not already have two rams,  I would have him.   If he is elderly,  what does that make my Bertie who is a much older boy!!

Aye for a Shetland Louie probably isn't elderly.
He is a gentleman though! Unless you are a tup bigger than him! He is brilliant with young tups and good with people. I would love to keep him but I don't have enough space for another tupping group for him and a few unrelated ewes.

Lovely! Just like my girls. I would love to have him but too far from Skye. No chance of sunburn here!!!

Your girls are gorgeous! Louie would have fitted in nicely if we had been closer.
