All,
I'll aim to post photographs later but I am offering for sale a 7 month OSB boar. He is currently destined for slaughter but I'm offering him for sale because he is far too good not to offer him. Both his parents are registered but unfortunately he isn't because he wasn't intended for anything other than the freezer.
He has all the right credentials, all the others in his litter are good, the bloodline has never thrown anything unexpected but he has good deep colour and black 'splodges', 4 very good white socks, white flash on forehead and tail. Anyone who sees the letter would pick him out.
Any enquiry please contact me.
Thanks
Pete

What is his underline like?

Hi Harmony,
I've just looked and he certainly has 12 teats, possibly 14 but difficult to confirm. If you PM me your email address I'll send photos to you. If you have an iPhone I can FaceTime you so you can see him real time.

I wouldn't use a boar with less than 14 teats. He looks nicely set up on his pasterns.

What a lovely boy.

Cuckoo - unless I'm mistaken, I think this little lads dad (Borage as we know him) came from you about 4 years ago? I think your pigs were named after herbs and we followed suit. (My profile picture is Borage when he was young)

Yes - didn't you have a gilt and a boar from us? Good to see the line going well. We don't have pigs at the moment - have 20 goats and 4 lambs - these due to go to abbatoir soon and so will surplus male goats. Always happy to swop some pork for goat or lamb if you have any at suitable time!
Wil get back into pigs when kids are older.
