Post by: Bramham Wiltshire Horns on September 10, 2016, 10:42:11 pm
I sent my membership off 2 weeks ago and not heard anything back and want to know that the mail arrived

I could do with getting on the flock book but need to create an account but can't

Does anyone know a way to contact the secretary

Most breed societies are run by volunteers with possibly small amounts paid to those doing certain jobs. People often also work so whilst they are committed it is not an office situation. This is an extremely busy time in the sheep world. People also take holidays.

Dot is very reliable but speed of response will depend on what else is going on. She has a lot of livestock responsibility rather than a 9 to 5 existence, most of the breed societies are like that.
