Post by: Shazdogs on September 09, 2016, 07:57:16 pm
i am buying a house that has a 3.64 acre garden which i need to fence along the perimeters to keep it dog proof but can't work out how many metres that would be on three sides. Can anyone help.

Measure your boundaries with this tool:  http://magic.defra.gov.uk/MagicMap.aspx (http://magic.defra.gov.uk/MagicMap.aspx)
(zoom into your field, then click on the measurement icon at the top and choose distance, then click to draw the line....or read the tutorial :))

If it was square it would be 209 feet per side on an acre.

Land is hard to do perimeter from area really it needs measuring

But if 3.64 acres was perfectly square it would be 120m per side or 480m total. But only if perfectly square chances are it's a fair bit more...
