A long shot this I guess...
We have a small group of Cayugas and have tried to expand it with hatching eggs - our own and bought in - but are getting mostly drakes. We currently have three females - one has not come on lay yet and the other two were giving us an egg each but one of them has now gone off laying. We have a good outlet for sale of eggs but at the moment can only produce one half-dozen a week!
So - has anyone got any FEMALE Cayugas for sale? We are in mid-Wales and could travel up to 30 miles to collect.
Many thanks

Sometimes seen at the Ross-on-Wye rare breed poultry sales - next one is early November.

Thanks for that info

We have all ducks and need a drake but we are in Cumbria!

Well harmony - if you are ever passing this way you are welcome to a drake!

Whereabouts in mid-Wales? We have a pair of Cayugas we cannot keep as the duck seems to be a bullying magnet for other ducks and the geese. We're south of Betws-y-Coed.

We are half way between Machynlleth and Welshpool - not a million miles from you maybe....
-
After further deep consideration my partner says "we'll go"!
A trip out is a welcome thing - willing to come to you
How old are they and what is their laying like?

there was a pair offered for sale at £15 at your local show today, don't know anything about them, but there were no takers
