Having fun in the laundry basket ..... notice the small white spot on the head of the Marans

They are so cute! My Jamie has found a new home near Kinross, so no more grief from my neighbours! Had to take a decision quickly but it's a nice home with three ladies for him.
-
That's good news Annie
To be honest, i'd completely forgotten about him ..... must be an age thing :o
-
Your buff orpies look like mine so that's promising!
They're lovely!
Mine are 11 days old and have been out in the sunshine today - they loved it! :)
-
The breeder we got them from wasn't quite sure who the father was, as both her Buff Orp & Buff Brahma cocks were running free around that time.
Fingers crossed they're pure bred ::)
-
and your maran looks like ours!!
very cute, how old are they?
-
Lovely, ive had some pekins banties hatched this week and my first time hatching of 4 khaki campbell ducklings :chook:

The Maran is 10 days old & the Orps are 11 if i remember rightly
They certainly don't stay small for long, as the Orps are about twice the size now compared to when we brought them home.
Methinks i'm gonna have to get my finger out my bum & get busy building a big coop to house them all :D

I've got hubby knocking up a large run for them! We have them in a small ark at the moment but there are 9 of them and they're getting a bit too big for it now! They go in the shed at night.
