Title: First harvest today!
Post by: Sharondp on May 23, 2010, 08:55:34 am: I know it's not much but today I will be harvesting some lettuce and radishes to have with our lunchtime barbecue!

This will be our first taste of our garden produce - can't wait!

It's the little pleasures hey? :)

Post by: Sharondp on May 23, 2010, 07:31:07 pm: Barbecue was lovely and the salad was great! Radishes were lovely - quite sweet with a peppery aftertaste. 'Salad bowl' lettuce and 'lollo rosso' was nice too - I think i had a tad too much Pimms though! Just caught my 3 year old polishing off the fruit in the bottom of the jug! ::)

Theres nothing better than home grown is there :)

I said last year i was going to start early this year but didnt get round to it ::)
