My speckledy has been off colour for over a week - in fact I've been expecting her to fall off her twig - but she's still going. She has a very droppy tail and is shuffling along as though her legs hurt. She has a diarrohea as well. She is still eating but doesn't rush around like she used to. Her 4 friends are all fine. Any idea what it could be?
Thanks

Have you tried worming her? I'd start there although it sounds more like a bug of some sort.

I had the same thing with one of my hens i thought i was going to find her dead.I bought some worming pellets cost me £10 24 hours later she was abck to her old self again ....i hope this helps

Definitely try worming. One of mine was miserable, laying eggs with virtually no shell etc etc, plus sloppy poos. My local farmers shop reckoned on worms. Although I'd wormed them with Flubenvet (brilliant stuff but expensive) earlier this year and not due to do it again until July, I wormed again a week ago - fantastic, within 3 days she was much better and laying fine. As obviously a worm infestation, I will do the recommended and worm again in three weeks.

what about coccidiosis?

treat or both its not expensive

Grab the wormer and try to give it to a very sick chicken who has a massive intestinal problem hence the diarrohrea. This will rip through her already infected guts and purge whats left of the life in her.
Yogurt and clean fresh water if you can get her to take it.
