Whereas most of my Vendéens bleat, there's one ewe that yodels. I've checked with the breeder of her sire and he assures me that there's no Valais Black Nose in his bloodline. But I'm not complaining at her yodelling. In fact I'd really like to breed more yodelling sheep. So does anyone have a yodelling tup from which they could supply me with a semen pipe? It'll make it so much easier if the whole flock yodels as I can then call them in using the 'Indian Love Call' song from the musical 'Rose-Marie' - ' When I'm calling ewe oo oo oo ewe oo oo oo ewe .....' !

I think we need to see and hear a clip...

I'll ask the boss if she knows how to produce a video clip with our camera and, if she does, how I can upload it to youtube, or the like, and then post a hyperlink to that here.

If you have a FB or twitter account you could upload a vid to that and link it to here? much easier than uploading to youtube :trophy:

Unfortunately I don't have either. Is a yodelling ewe realy such a strange occurence?

It's a new one to me! And I have... Wait for it, um, about 3,500 ewe years' worth of experience... ;)

We've got a lamb this year that gargles!? :)

One of mine has a very tuneful range of unladylike burps. Perhaps we could get a sheepy girl band together and enter BGT!

I have a ewe called Dot who seems to bleat the word Mama whenever you call her name!

Based on what's been on offer of recent years, probably they'd clean up at the next Eurovision Song Contest! Or should that be Eurovine Song Contest?
