Title: Pork available (near York)
Post by: Snapper on August 02, 2016, 11:07:03 am
We  will have some Gloucestershire Old Spot Pork available the week beginning August 8th.
Our pigs are home bred, born and reared outdoors.  They are fed a low protein ration milled specially for us  and our slower growing Rare Breed pigs which ensures that they don't put down too much fat.

Half Pigs £90

Pork Box  consisting of chops ,Family sized Roasting Joint, Belly Pork,1Kg cubed pork and 1kg sausages £35

We live near Pocklington and around 10 miles east of York.

Do the half pigs include sausages etc?

Definitely interested and trying to work out when I can escape to York!

Sorry Hevxxx99 no the half pig  for £90 doesn't include sausages, but we can make the shoulder into sausages for an extra £10.
The pork that I advertised on the 2nd August has gone but there should be some more available in 3 weeks or so.

No matter about the sausages - just wondered!

Yes please, I'd like to order a half pig for around 3 weeks time. It should be easier for me to collect by then as well.

Picked up my half-pig yesterday. I'm delighted with it.

We've scoffed some sausages already which were completely delicious and looking forward to some huge, succulent chops tonight.

Lovely to meet Snapper and her partner and look forward to going back for more pork, some Dexter beef and possibly a turkey or two at Christmas as I'm not doing any myself this year.
