Title: Grass cuttings
Post by: pigs n chickens on May 14, 2010, 08:48:57 pm
Hi Pig Keepers!
Does anyone know if you can you feed pigs grass cuttings? Our cows love them but I know you can't give them to horses - but what about pigs? Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks
Helen  :pig:  :chook:

if the cuttings are fresh, and not all clumped up (choking risk) then the pigs will love them!
We have push mower.. the animas all line up to watch when it comes out of the shed, waiting for their share!!

if any doesnt get eaten quickly, I'd take it out as it festers & rots very soon
