MAYBE of interest   George Mudge  NZ super crook , has a locking device so when the leg is in it stays in plus you can put a front and back leg in together to immobilise a sheep .  www.georgemudgeshearing.co.uk/ (http://www.georgemudgeshearing.co.uk/)

Not needed to catch a sheep yet but it balances nicely as you walk about and fits on the quad without catching the doorway.

Have one -used it -definitely works - recommend it yes - it sits alongside jakoti shears as a must have really usefull tool

I want  :thumbsup:  And I totally agree about jakotis, outstanding would never go back to traditional hand shears.
