Just been thinking wouldnt it be brilliant if Dan made a TAS app which you could download to your device as a shortcut? Just a thought though, could be expensive, you could charge for the app though :innocent: What does everyone think?
-
I would not be interested in one as I use my desktop and a proper keyboard as trying to touch type on a tablet is a faff.
-
I wouldn't recognise an app if it leapt out of my lap top and bit me!!
-
What would an app give me that is better than using it on Safari on the iPad, wbf?

Me too, except I don't have a laptop, just a big thing on my desk, with a keyboard. Maybe we're the wrong generation WBF :roflanim:
-
I wouldn't use an app either. sorry WBF
-
I think for the younger generation it might be a good idea, but all in all why bother? The costs involved could be expensive and you may not make the return.
-
I don't understand what an app does that I cant already do

I must be multigenerational - i have a smart phone, tablet, laptop, and desk top. Or maybe I'm just a geek :roflanim: :innocent:

WBF ...... what does the app allow you to do? How would it be useful?

Just the same as you do on a laptop, desktop or tablet - except smaller so you have to enlarge everything :innocent:

Apps = applications = programmes
They are of great use if you don't have a computer of some sort - desk top, laptop and tablet are all computers 'of sort'.

Must be more than that; I use TAS on my mini iPad (tablet) and on my Dumb (refuse to call it smart) phone now. No problem - in Safari on the iPad, Google Chrome on the Android phone.

I have an old Blackberry, apps don't work, nor does much of the stuff designed for Android technology and Apple. Even the webpage is odd on the Blackberry, messages are stacked with about one word per line on a tiny bit of the screen, takes a real effort to read one tho the email notification comes up fine..

An App may not add much but a mobile version of the forum could be good. I struggle to read personal messages and forum posts on the phone (android) as the formatting goes funny. Everything gets squashed and I get about 5 words per line. With the little one most of my net time is now on the phone, I just about read replies but wait until the evenings to reply when I can use the laptop as it is easier. I would have no idea how to do it though!

I have a shortcut on my phone's homepage and that works fine for me.
