Post by: sabrina on May 11, 2010, 03:23:12 pm
Just heard yesterday that a horse died from grass sickness at New Deer last week. fine when checked in the morning dead by tea time. This is the time of year where we seem to hear of it around Aberdeenshire. Its such a worry and my heart goes out to anyone who losses there beloved animal this way. :horse:

Grass sickness is terrible - just no warning its going to happen.  Fortunately, we do not seem to get any cases of grass sickness where we are.

that is really shocking and not too far from me.  Don't know a lot about grass sickness - if anyone would like to explain, would be really helpful.
