Title: Pigs and Rhododendron
Post by: hatjoepeg on May 10, 2010, 02:11:41 pm
 ???

What I meant to post was that we have cleared all the rhodo but obviously there is still a big root system left and some of the larger trunks will sprout again, any thoughts if this would be a good area for pigs.
Just trying to reclaim some land back from the woods!

It would be toxic if they ate it, they should just root out the roots.  Keep an eye on them, make sure they don't eat the leaves.  As long as they are well fed it shouldn't be a problem.  (In my experience of course, being pigs you can't guarantee anything)
