Hi All
Just wondered if there is any way you can tell an EID button tag from non EID? I have button tags from 2 years ago and am a few short for this years lambs ... would like to use up what I have if I can work out if they have EID.
Thanks

can we have pics plz?

I understand all EID tags have tone yellow while non-EID tags can be other colours but yellow.
So it should be easy to tell - the yellow tags are EID.
(or maybe I got that all wrong, tag rules still confused me!)

They are yellow of course ... but would they have been EID from 2 years ago?

We've had EID longer than two years, yes, if that's your question.

If you can't find a way take them to a vet and get them to scan them

TAG pairs have been EID since 2009 and as said in England /wales eid tag is yellow only and non eid any colour except yellow /red / black ( SCOTLAND eid and non eid can be any colour except red or black )
