Title: Insurance for 'farmgate' sales
Post by: BrimwoodFarm on May 31, 2016, 02:26:38 pm
I was wondering what insurance might be needed for farm gate sales? For instance, if I sell a box of eggs to someone and they end up getting ill - maybe they have a weak immune system and catch staph, for example - I'm of the understanding I'd be liable? Is that right?

If so, are there policies that specialise in these things?

Cheers!
Geoff

Thanks Rosemary. I'll have a look. Totally 'DOH' though, because my parents are with NFU; should've thought of them!
