I'm trying to find somewhere to buy a lot of woodchip not too expensive, but I'm shocked at the prices
I was wondering about hiring a woodchip myself but again it proves costly for the amount of land I want to cover, also wondering where to get enough wood from
I have a truck already, so was thinking about buying one and advertising as tree and hedge cutter.
A few big jobs and I could get all the woodchip I need?

You'd need insurance, and waste carriers license amongst other things no doubt

Not sure where you are but we found the recycling station where all the green waste goes and buy "soil improver" for our veg plot. They also chip timber and sell that by the truck load at a very cheap price. I fill a 7ft by 4ft trailer with soil improver for £5. Worth finding out where your waste goes to

I can't get as good a deal as you do.
I have lots of wood on my property, was just thinking about hiring a woodchiper. But then thought about just buying one, every few years it will need mother few layers of woodchip.
I love the finished surface, it keeps weeds down and let's water through. Win win.
