Title: TV documentary looking for a family recently moved to the country
Post by: EmmaResearcher on May 06, 2010, 03:51:48 pm
Hi,

Are you moving to the country? Are you taking on a farm?

I'm a researcher for a television production company in Scotland and we are looking for a family who is about to or has just moved to an area of outstanding natural beauty in Britain. We would like to follow you and your family for a 'year in the life' type documentary series, following the ups and downs of moving to a rural area, taking on a smallholding or a farm, adjusting to the changes country life provides. The family dynamic will be central to this series, so if you have a young, busy family, and are about to throw yourself into life in a beautiful rural area, then we would like to hear from you.

Think River Cottage meets Outnumbered!

Contact Emma at [email protected] or reply here.

I look forward to hearing from you,

LOL it sounds like my life - smallholding with 4 very small children, definately outnumbered!!

I think we've been smallholding for too long now to apply and also we are in the midlands of england, not scotland so perhaps out of area.

Hi Anke - thank you for the kind offer - but new policy 'if it doesn't eat grass - not getting it'. I do enjoy my nephews visits and he like the ride on mower which is great - the only time's when the paddock looks good!!

Unfortunatley they do eat for Scotland at the moment.... and definitely not just grass. Here was me hoping for some quiet time...
