These are three ewes that I bought as part of a flock disposal, I have Shetlands and Hebrideans, so they don't fit with my plans but took them as part of a lot.
They are a mule ewe with ewe lamb, two Texel X ewes with twins,1 set of ewe lambs the other ewe and ram lamb. They are just a month old.
The tup used was a suffolk.
I am in Fife.
Looking for £200 for the lot.

Hi, I am not able to buy the stock you advertised, but would like to ask you a question: Did you use the Suffolk tup on Shetland ewes? If yes, did they lamb easily and how do the lambs come on? I am interested in using a big tup on my Shetlands next year (not gimmers though), and a Suffolk is one of the options.
Thanks, Anke.

Hi
THe ones for sale and 9 Shetlands were all bought in lamb, the Shetlands had no problem lambing quite a few had twins. They are lovely looking things the tails are slightly longer but not needed docked. I was a wee bit concerned but the previous owner said they had been put to the same tup the year before.

Thanks for your reply, I have more chances of getting a Suffolk tup here than a Charrollais, which would have been my first choice. Would use him on my larger commercial shetlands rather than the pedigree ones anyway.
