Title: Hello from Hampshire

Hi everyone, what a wonderful name for a site - looks like some great info and opportunities for discussion.
I moved down to Emsworth in Hants from the north east last year for a variety of reasons intending to sell my house and find somewhere permanent.  In the meantime, I rented a flat on what I thought would be a temporary basis - oh dear - not a good time to try to sell and I'm still in the flat! I'm now renting out my house and looking for something else to rent with a bit of 'outside'.  In the meantime, I'm making do with working on my daughter's allotment and helping out at a local organic market garden a couple of days a week. It's wonderful countryside here and great for growing as the climate's so mild as we are on the coast.
Would love to hear from any other members in the area as I'm keen to further my knowledge in all aspects of smallholding with an eye to the future (if I ever sell the house!)

We moved from Fareham and now live in Normandy, so we were not so far from you.

Welcome to TAS and good luck with your allotment.  I know you will get lots of good advice on here.
