Picked up 3 today.  I often don't find them at all: they're incredibly good at hiding them.  As my fields are right on the moors, they often go onto the moor to lay then dissapear for about 40 days before coming back with a lot of ducklings!  These 3 were in the goose nest!

i got a feeling that because they live in a big shed with chickens that ive been getting them mixed up and eating them
although the eggs i think are muscovy eggs have a tint of green in them
im going to seperate them to a new pen for a week or so just to establish what the eggs are looking like

Muscovy eggs are bigger usually than hens eggs and have a very smooth textured shell and a really tough inner membrane when you break them.  They are basically white, but possibly with a hint of something.

Mine are always with a hint of mud, so I'm not sure...

they feel waxy and can have a greenish tint-especially at the blunt end. they are about 10x as hard as hens eggs to crack though!

Yup, at LEAST 10 times as hard. And really leathery membrane.

I cleaned one today: it was slightly hint-of-pink I'd say.

We were eating the eggs throughout the first few months of the year. Crack them into a glass before frying and fish out any she'll as they are hard to crack.
Ours have a nice clutch that they will sit on soon. Usually 12 plus eggs. One sat on 17 once but we took 5 away.
