I've got a female Cherry Valley Duck with a sore eye. I believe it was caused by an over affectionate Indian runner drake. I've been treating the eye with Vetericyn, and Optrex Ointment for Infected Eyes. It has cleared away the scabbing around the eye, but the eye itself still has a bubbly Mucus, when this is washed away there is a solid white area which I think is under the clear eyelid.
Any idea what else I can try or recommended medications to help? Apart from the eye the duck is still highly active, going out and about in the fields and swimming in the pond.
