Title: Agricultural Shed Painters?
Post by: blades on April 02, 2016, 04:29:10 pm
Just wondered if anyone knew of any agricultural shed painters who work in the Angus area?

I have a large corrugated iron Dutch barn that requires some attention.

Thanks in advance  :fc:

Don't know anyone personally who would do this but I know some farmers who have had a shed painted but they have done it themselves.
Try contacting a painter/decorator directly.  If they can paint the outside of houses for folks then they would likely be able to paint your shed.

Yeah I did think about that... but from what I understand, the job requires specialist paint knowledge, a mobile compressor / spray facility and the hire of quite a sizeable cherry picker. I didn't imagine any normal painter/decorator would have all that?

Cheers

I would have thought most wouldn't have the cherry picker as they would get hired out.  I would still give a couple a call and see what they say - no harm in asking.
Another option would be is to contact the machinery ring at Laurencekirk and see if they know of anyone.
