Title: Price of ryeland Ewes

HI I am thinking of selling some of my ewes to someone settlng up their own flock.Anyone sold any ideas as to how much to charge.?

Does the breed society have upset prices, below which bids at society auctions won't be accepted?  I generally charge this for my Southdowns, plus the cost of registration if wanted.  It saves me taking them to market and the buyer can see the whole flock and how we keep them, plus the rams we have for hire if they don't want to keep one.
