Yesterday I got my first goose egg from my pair of Chinese geese. This is the first season she is laying but from reading other posts many people have had geese eggs from early Feb. ???
Should this be a concern or is it normal for the first egg to be so late?

Dr poultry I've not had an egg this year yet but hoping any day now with the way they are acting and the noise from the boys .....I hope :relief:
-
OK that's good, I wasn't the only one :excited:
cant wait to taste it :yum:

I'm still waiting for mine to start laying again! Either they're on strike or hiding the darned things especially well this year!
Goose eggs are sublime! :yum:

Yes they taste awesome :yum:
But since the first one i haven't had any more >:(

Sure they aren't hiding them? They cover them very well and it can be hard to locate them if they've chosen their own nest!
Having said that, mine often seem to lay one each and then stop for a while before producing a downright glut!

No I got another one this morning.
