Title: Tagging sheep

Hey i have just bought 2 ewes both with 2 lambs at foot from a market. All of the sheep tagged with another flock number and animal id. When i buy new tags with my flock number on does the animal id stay the same.

The tags the sheep have now stay with them for life, you do not put your flock number tags on them.

you will get your own individual numbers for the future lambs born on your land…they will have your new tags with your number..the ones you have bought already will keep their number as buttermilk has said….throughout their lives ….
