Title: BBC debate!!
Post by: sandy on April 29, 2010, 11:02:26 pm
Now why did the BBC ask/invite ME to the debate tomorrow??? I used to have political views but now realise that the individual is much more important! I would vote for someone who I consider would do the job they said they would irrelevant of the political party they represent!! I have declined my invite as I thought I would be nursing a  poorly dog but the vet said the dog is fine and no need to operate just now!!!

All the dogs are very well but it was Rohan who was due to have her hernia opp but the vet said it's tiny and only a small gap in the muscle wall that should only trap a bit of fat and she may well grow out of it, so we will just keep check on her and fingers crossed she will not need the op, well not until she is about 8 mths. It's funny to see them all together Rohan loves to be with her mum Islay and little Rhum toddles behind most of the time sniffing but she stands her ground, they are all very good so far but as with children, thier teenage stage is the testing time!! ::)

Don't know why they asked you, there are only 8 reserved seats.  Me and Tony I'anson are two of them.  We're there because of the night train petition - http://www.facebook.com/pages/StopNightTrains/110706728967360

I said to you a while back that they don't usually operate on small hernias till they are about 6 months old.   My vet says, hernia and neutering at the same time, so it isn't passed on to progeny.  She'll be fine, but Lloyds hernia was huge and it was the guts that were coming through so he had to be done at 8 weeks, but he has a breeding ban on him anyway.

Yes, of course, but we all have those -  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D  But joking apart, I think maybe they thought you'd be a good one to ask because you are right in the centre of the village and would hear the opinions of people as a guest house owner.

We had a BBC producer stay here and a  young documentary editor, plus twice I have been asked if they could use photos of mine and of course I was interviewed by channel 4, Location Location, Location...did not get on the show and some years ago, I was asked to sit on the BBC radio listening panel, I declined that too...maybe one day ::)
