Title: wet hay

now that the wet weather is here, with the hay that is outside in a hay rack,
how long can it stay in rack for goats since i dont want to be running back and forth everytime it comes
to rain.#thanks langdon.

whats your hay rack fitted to?
can't you put a "porch" or cover over the top... as long as it doesn't drip down onto the goats!

Have you asked this before?  Maybe it was someone else?  Or did I dream it had been asked?!!!

If hay gets wet, I doubt your goats will eat it.  If the rack has a top on, it should keep it dry or dryish.  Wet hay is not good for livestock.  Perhaps on the wet days put less out, if you do not want to be bringing it in and out.

i havent been brining it in and out, i just dont like the thought of it!!!
