Hi,
Does anyone know of any Speckled Sussex chicken suppliers in Lincolnshire or the surrounding counties? I know they're rarer than their sisters the Light sussex but I wasn't prepared to have such a difficult time finding a breeder!
Any help will be greatly appreciated, looking forward to starting a new flock. :)

I don't know of any personally, but found these on the net.

There was a fair selection at the Ross-on-Wye rare breed poultry sale last weekend. I, too, am on the lookout for good stock. I have a superb cockerel but the hens I had last year were poor layers and had even poorer fertility, so they were culled.

Hello guys!
I found a farm in Staffordshire that is currently hatching Speckled Sussex chicks, and I have them pre-ordered for June when they are at 8 - 10 weeks of age. I'll be buying a Rooster and 4 hens, and hopefully breed some of my own.
:D

That is brilliant news! All the best with everything
