I am going to have to inject one of my sows every day for a week. Not a difficult job to do if she's feeling a little unwell, but as she gets better it will be a little more of a challenge!!
I'm thinking of investing in a Masterject (not just for this, but I'm thinking of changing to an injectable wormer etc.).....Has anyone any experience with one? Is it worth it?

I swear by the slapshot vacinator - a plastic cable that links the needle to the syringe - syringe and needle bought separately - you are only buying the tube, so don't get confused by the picture - but any screw in (called "luer lock" ) syringe and screw in needle will do.
Works fantastically every time, just stick the needle in, and follow the pig for a second as it moves whilst you squeeze the syringe, then pull the cable and the needle comes out.
Uses an extra 2ml to fill the cable, which you can put back in the bottle (using a clean needle after!) or just put down the sink, worth it as you don't waste any medicine trying it a second, third, forth time !!

think the slapshots about £10, well worth the money, and maybe try it before spending £150 on the masterject? If you do get the M, let us know how well it works

Hi,
Have a look at the Cox-Agri drenchers and vaccinators brochure download on our site, all the vaccinators you could need. Let us know if you would like a price on any of them.
Thanks
