Title: sneezing chicken
Post by: valr on April 27, 2010, 10:55:11 am
Hi
I am new to chicken keeping! So I hope you folks can help me....
I got 3 bantams on Sunday to add to an existing pair. One of the new ones is sneezing. She has no other symptoms and seems otherwise well - eating, drinking, foraging, moving around quite fast when it suits her! No rattling or wheezing, and the other hens are fine.
What should I do, if anything?  Is there anything I should give her? Should I isolate her? Or is it just something that will go away by itself that I can ignore?
Cheers
Val

There is straw bought from a pet shop in the nesting box. The run is just on grass and they are out in the garden most of the time. Do you get chickens that are allergic to straw?!? :o
