Title: Sheep scanner in Berkshire
Post by: LadyFarmer on February 26, 2016, 10:09:58 pm
Can anyone offer any recommendations for a sheep scanner who might be prepared to come to us in West Berkshire. I've only got a few ewes, but I'm a first timer - as are my girls - so I'm willing to pay up to get some idea of what we're expecting.

My Vets are Donnington Grove in Newbury, they might do it or know someone that does? They have quite a few small farm customers I think.

How many sheep have you got? as it may not be worthwhile cost wise to pay for a scanner as they will potentially charge more due to a small flock.

I've only got three sheep -  I think that's the problem, but I'm happy to pay!!

Were are you based? I will ask around and see if I can find one for you?

Thanks Hugo, I'm in Streatley, between Pangbourne and Wallingford. Any help gratefully received.
