Title: poorly chicken
Post by: shrekfeet on April 26, 2010, 09:00:12 am
Hello all, any advice?
Put the chickens to bed last night, all roosting normally.

Went to let them out this morning and one of them won't stand up/walk around. It's almost as though it has partially lost the use of its legs. All others ok. Did throw some parsnip tops in to them yesterday, could it be this?

Any other ideas? It's a young bird

worked out the problem. She needed to lay an egg. Tiny egg appeared yesterday and chuck was wandering around just fine after that!
