Title: Hi I'm new to the forum and thought I would introduce myself
Post by: biscuitdixon on January 05, 2016, 09:45:07 am
   Happy New Year!

I have been reading this (and many other) forums for a while now.  I am a (slightly) mature student, studying Agriculture.

As part of my course I need to do work experience (for free!) and I am reaching out to any smallholder within reasonable travelling distance from Newcastle upon Tyne who could assist please?

I have been working with cattle and sheep and to a lesser extent poultry and pigs.  I can drive a tractor and build/repair most things.  I have an understanding of growing crops and nutritional requirements of plants.

I have a driving licence and my own car.

I appreciate any offers/advice you can give.

Not everyone reads the introductions so try putting your offer on marketplace with a descriptive title.

Oh and Hi by the way
