ime having a small field turned over ie harrowed and rotovated then levelled off in the next week,,,,,,,,, is it any good grass seeding it now.. I know it wont grow yet or should I wait

WOW what part of the country are you ? most grass seed is sown in spring or late summer when the soil is warm and dry with rain showers . If you work the soil now and sow the seed in the spring you may have to loosen the top of the ground as it may cap over the winter . Maybe have to spray any weeds which germinate in the spring before sowing

I would leave the soil as is until the spring and then rotovate it and seed it then. If you do it now with all this rain you will wash away lots of soil and nutrients, and weeds will grow as shep says.
