I see that there was talk a couple of years ago about setting up a North Dorset smallholder's group. Did it ever happen? I only moved in to the area last year. I'd love to know and join up if there is one

I don't think one exists at the moment, wish it did.


I started a Dorset Smallholders Page on Facebook that you are welcome to join but that is just for buying and selling and abit of chat.  No meet ups so far.


I wonder whats involved in creating one?

Nothing except a venue (pub?)  and a few contacts!

Hmmm food for thought.  I will have a look at the Somerset Smallholders website for inspiration.


i wonder if we could maybe put a post out on here to see how many would be interested and then we could have an initial meet up to gather ideas.
