Hello all,
I am currently looking into the idea of buying a mobile handling system, cattle/ sheep, and I want to test the water to see if there is a market amongst smallholders to rent it out?
I am aware that everyone has to muddle along somehow anyway, but didn't know if the benefits of having a purpose built system for collecting/ moving stock without the capital investment would outway the inevitable daily rate that would have to be charged?
Just looking for thought at the moment,
Thanks for reading!

Be interested to see peoples responses - I've pondered this before.
I think the difficulty will be in having something with enough different 'components' to suit everyone... hilly field, odd shaped corners etc

I am told there is a sheep one to hire near here at £30 a day. Hope that helps

Around here everyone has their own sheep handling system. The cattle ones are very expensive and generally come with a contractor for foot trimming and belly clipping. I haven't yet come across a dual-purpose system.

As always £££ is the determining factor
You will have to clean/disinfect it each time you hire it out so will have to charge enough to cover that as well as depreciation etc
