this morning went out to let the girls out and i noticed
molly has a bald patch on her the top of her leg, about the size of a 10p.
ive put some antiseptic spray on it.
will this be enough or do i need to treat it another way?

if you've checked her for creepy-crawly things...
might she have rubbed it off?
-
her coat was clear when i checked it after seeing the sore.
she seems to dislike the taste of the antiseptic as when she goes to nibble or lick she turn her head away.
-
is it sore, or just bald??!
ie, is it her normal skin colour, or red/pink/sore looking?
-
im sure when i seen it this morn it was looking like a sore.

see how the antiseptic works.
our little 'un had a big bleeding hole behind her ear... one squirt with purple antiseptic and its healed beautifully - and did eventually washed off me, though not where I got it on the path spraying a sore hoof (moving during trimming, and it tore!)
so its good stuff!
check round to see where she might have caught it - loose wire, nail or screw, or if she is getting sores on her body
-
will do a full check in their day area tomorrow,
but if it is a sore do i just carry on with the antiseptic spray? :goat:
thanks for replying ;)

I'd say yes... up to the point that you think you need a vet! Ie, if it becomes infected, or she gets more - could be a sign of something else
but don't worry, I'm sure she'll be fine
