Not something you expect at this time of year, but the recent rain and warm weather has produced a growth of lush grass in the hen run and three out of my six have had sour crop over the last few days. I am having to severely restrict their space and am thinking of covering an area with bark clippings to get them off grass altogether so see if I can settle them down. I am going through pots of yoghurt in no time at all!

Avipro Avian is a far better alternative Louise. Lush grass isn't a recipe for sour crop but rather a digestive impaction which leads to incurable sour crop. Are you sure their crops are emptying overnight? Important thing is you keep the grass short. We bought an electric strimmer for just that job, because a petrol one scares the life out of them.
