I usually take my duck eggs off the turner at day 25 and then up the humidity. More often than not they pip on day 26, or 27 at the very latest.
I have an RCOM SURO so it keeps the temperature and humidity constant at whatever I set it to. I've been told (and found myself) that you get best results at 37.2 degrees and 50% humidity days 1-25 and then up the humidity to 70% for days 25-28.

They are great, I thoroughly enjoy the whole experience. :&> :&>

Is that the yolk in the last photo ???

Have had chicks and ducklings "leave" more than that and they're happy and healthy so I wouldnt worry too much. As long as you get them into the brooder as soon as they're dry and fluffy they should be fine. Don't forget to "show" them how to drink by holding their beak in the water for 2-3 seconds...
-
Just started showing them the drinking water so they can go in the big brooder today

Beautiful!
I would love to have ducks, but we have no water and I would need to keep them in a pen somehow.
-
With all these ducks you are in for a lovely smell any day now ha ha. :&>

Neither had I at my last house - an old bath is fine - a ramp up to it for them, and make sure you keep the plug on a chain so you can drain it and hose it out.

Awww they look beautiful.... but James is right about the smell.....lol
