Just been to a meeting of the foodisfree group in Carnoustie (we are their official manure supplier ;D ).
Somehow, because I have a mammoth gob I seen to have volunteered to run a seed swap and potato day in February.
I have been to one potato day ever (years ago) and I've never been to a seed swap.
Obvioulsy, I'm now thinking about how this might be organised. But anybody any tips, organisation ideas, description of a good one? Heeeelp

Dunblane allotment society run a potato day in March. You could get in touch with them for ideas. Don't have any contact details but I am sure you will be able to find them. :)

I've emailed their contact from the website today.
On a seed swap, do you have to bring a packet to take a packet? Do you limit the number of packets folk can take?

I have never been to a seed swap but I am sure that there will be a ratio of what is brought in and what can be taken out. I think lots of bits of paper will be required between seeds being handed in at "reception" and what goes through "the checkout" .
Hopefully the nice people of Dunblane allotment group will be able to answer that question
