Title: an real surprise

had a 5 legged lamb born in brother in laws flock, seems to get around ok, healthier than some of the 4 legged variety!
i thought id share this with you! i know i should cull it but im not gonna;- a woman at a local rescue wants it! no point us rearing it for the slaughterhouse to throw it in a skip! so off to rescue its going !

just out of curiosity where is the 5th leg attached?

it is attached to one of the front legs, if you run your hand down the leg u find there are 2 leg bones side by side under the skin, i think it is attached to the shoulder but its hard to tell without an xray

she also has a deformed hind leg that is useless,

she gets around well enough though!

butchers could sell an extra 'leg of lamb' though!

nice she has a home to look forward to...
