Title: Of mud and green things

Hiya everyone,

My partner and I are taking that crazy plunge into smallholding. We are fortunate to have 17.5 acres, and are burdened with infinite amounts of principles and reams.

The land is pasture land and needs some healing. My partner's dream is simple "I want to grow food". We both share eco/permaculture/organic/right living principles. I want goats.

So we're going to do everything we can to make it work, and to one day get the permission to build our (cob) home there.

Wonderful to have found this forum and all you good folk here.

Welcome from W. Yorkshire.
You'll find lots of goat keepers on here, and food growers as well of course ;D
We saw a cob building being built up over in Burnley some years ago, I'd love to try it to make a little shelter down the fields.
