Hi, not in any major rush but on the look out for a shed for my ducks in the next 12 months. Don't mind if needs some TLC if its made from decent materials.
Could swap for fertile eggs (Marsh Daisies, silkie crosses for broodies) or growers-have an attractive line in barred B&W muscovy ducks as well. Or a very single minded elderly Exmoor pony (half joking! ;D ). Or in the new year, I could carry out some worm egg counts for certain species.
Can collect within reasonable distance of Lanark.

I've got a few off gumtree.

have been keeping an eye out-either too late (can't get there weekdays), people don't reply (or in one memorable case, kept replying but refused to give me address ;D ) or won't help me talk apart.

Do you have a jewsons around your way? You could try them, as they sell sheds for allsorts. Another option would be ebay/Amazon, they always have something.
All the best with the search and could you let us know if you find anything?

thanks for your suggestions WBF. I can't afford to spend several hundred on a good shed (the ducks do have nice housing, they don't want for owt but they are in the end of my stables and I didn't appreciate just how poopy they would be lol!) but likewise don't want to sped £200 on a heap of chinese pine.

I have one but Yorkshire is a long way for you to come......

it is a bit :)

Unless I could persuade my relations to strap it to their roof for you, as they travel up and down pretty often ....... :)

Try chioldrens playhouses on ebay - we bought one for £72 for our kids - new felt, a bit of wood preservbative and now we have a great play house for the children. They come up all the time and come up in different sizes - the one for my children is 8ft x 6ft so I epxetc a smaller one would be cheaper

:) @ Roxy! not sure their car had a roof rack... (he's doing really well btw!).
kids playhouses are a good idea-because they are muscovies and like to roost, it needs to be big enough for them to fly up and down.

unfortunately Freecycle in my area is a shambles and I really don't want to build anything other than a shed :) thanks for all of your suggestions though.

Just seen a shed in a local shop window for £50, sounded ok too. Not that it helps you, of course. Rick has seen a pick up, we desperately need one, having sold our old one, and he said its up near Edinburgh somewhere!! Not exactly local ..... stuff we want never is.
Pleased the little fella is doing well :)
