Hi There,
We moved to Devon just over a year ago. We have about 7 acres of grazing land.
We have White Face Dartmoor sheep, 2 elderly dogs and a 4 month old kitten. In a couple of weeks we are getting two (hopefully in calf) Shetland cows which we hope to halter train and maybe show locally. Can't wait! :excited:

Hi from a damp Moray.
Always nice to see a new Shetland owner - they are great cattle and there's lots of advice available both here & from the Breeders Association if you need it .

And hello from an uncharacteristically dry and sunny Lancashire.
I know nothing about cows
-
And hello from near Newton Abbot, whereabouts are you?

We're just outside Okehampton :raining: We came from Hampshire :sunshine: loving the good life so far, a real learning curve!

Hi from dampish Dorset, good luck with the cattle, enjoy!

Hi from Ceredigion, I hope you enjoy your cows they're fascinating creatures. There are some owners of shetlands on here, so if you need any advice am sure they will be willing to help. All the best

Hello back from mid - Devon. Keep us posted about your Shetland venture - we've stuck to sheep and occasional pigs, since didn't have the confidence for cattle. But if we did..... it'd definitely be Shetlands....
Damp in mid Devon too.... but there's a blue sky....
