I really envy you having your CSSA, we have nothing like that in the borders (I don't think) :-\

There's a smallholders group based near Biggar - I know it's in South Lanarkshire, but the county border with Borders is very close.

Good meeting tonight - two good speakers on bats and birds on the smallholding, so I've got my pack and I'm planning to get RSPB to do a survey at our new place.

Bit of a poor turnout from members unfortunately, but some new folk, whihc was nice and some yummy cakes (thanks, Sandy) and a good laugh (thanks Andrew and Bob).

We have members who travel about 40 miles I believe to meetings.  Usually meets are in Clackmannan in the winter months, Stirling tonight, and then from now on we go out on visits. www.smallholders.info  We are hoping to update the website with this year's programme soon.
