I get through wellies at an amazing pace. For some reason, I always end up with one of them leaking .......and not much good with a leaky well am I? I am also very good at putting my muck fork through the top of the wellie, narrowly missing my feet ........

Cut old wellies right down to shoe level to make emergency slip ons when have to run outside to get washing in etc. Hermit

i knew someone would suggest that one!
its as ol as the hills ;D
mind you there is not much more that you can do with them is there?

I bought some new ones today cos me Muckboots got no grip on them anymore :( I got some argylls, it was so lovely not having to worry about slipping on me arris coming back down the yard lol

langdon, we both had new wellies as an early Christmas present... they're steel-toe-capped, cos I always seem to get a goat or pig stood on my foot when I go in to them!
Maybe Roxy could do with some like mine?!

Our pup chewed my OH's Muckboots - thankfully no hole, but they now have flappy bits of material hanging off them.
